What we need from you

FAQ
Does a Promoted Release get me into the Weekly Ten?
No — and that’s the point. The Ten is 100% merit-based and can’t be bought. A Promoted Release is its own premium placement, separate from editorial coverage.
Will you review or rate my music?
Promoted Releases don’t carry review scores. If our editors independently select your music for editorial coverage, that’s separate and free, like everything in the Ten.
What if my music doesn’t fit your criteria?
You get a full refund. We’d rather return your money than put our name on something we don’t believe in.
How fast does my feature go live?
Within 3 business days of approval. Need it timed to a release date? Tell us in your submission and we’ll schedule it.
Can I renew or extend?
Yes — re-book any tier for another run, subject to availability and re-approval.
Terms
- Editorial approval required. All orders are subject to editorial review against The Weekly Ten’s criteria (quality, originality, emotional impact, clear artistic identity). Orders that don’t meet the criteria are refused with a full refund.
- No editorial coverage implied. A Promoted Release is paid placement, clearly labeled as Sponsored. It does not guarantee inclusion in the Weekly Ten, a Featured Artist slot, a review, or a rating.
- Right of refusal. We reserve the right to refuse any submission that is off-brand, offensive, or inconsistent with the site’s values, with a full refund.
- Artist-supplied assets. You provide artwork, links, and blurb copy to spec. We may lightly edit blurb copy for clarity and length.
- No refunds after publication. Once your feature is live, the order is fulfilled.
- Scheduling. Review within 3 business days; publish within 3 business days of approval, or on your requested release date if feasible.
- Disclosure. All paid placements are labeled “Sponsored” per FTC endorsement guidelines.
