This is a comeback and a reset. With Love, From Dani, DaniLeigh’s 13-track album released October 2, 2026, on Rebellion Records, trades the toxic-romance energy of the “Easy” and “Lil Bebe” era for something steadier, warmer and more grown. Built around faith, motherhood and healing after losing her father, it sounds like an artist clearing space — not to explain herself, but to start again on her own terms. She calls the record “no malice, no petty, no hate,” and that spirit runs through it: this is not a record chasing a moment, it is a record choosing peace.

The range is one of its great strengths. DaniLeigh moves between R&B, Afrobeats and drill without losing the thread, and the guests feel chosen rather than collected. Tink joins her on “Up Down,” Fivio Foreign brings a harder edge to “Sk8,” and Toschi, Bella Dose and Brandon Bills add colour and family feeling elsewhere, while the bonus version of “G.O.D.” features Alex Jean. Nothing here feels like a detour for its own sake; every collaboration sharpens a different side of the same story — confidence, devotion, joy, and the work of holding a life together.

At the centre of it all is a simple, powerful test: every song had to be one her daughter could play. That discipline gives the album its clarity. “Home,” the album’s focus track with Jordan Adetunji, is direct in the best way — no games, no hedging, just the feeling of choosing somewhere, and someone, safe. And then there is “Goosebumps” with Olamide, the album’s biggest moment and its emotional peak. Filmed in a church for a video co-directed by DaniLeigh and her sister Victoria Curiel, it turns faith into something you can feel in your chest: a song that sounds less like a performance than a prayer answered in real time.

RATING: 4.5/5
